Here is the Project Runway zine I made for Light Grey Art Lab’s Stacks exhibition. You can check out previews of the other zines in the show here.

Light Grey Art Lab has a show up in their gallery right now called “Stacks” that I was lucky enough to take part in. Artists were assigned a year between 1984-2014 and then asked to make a zine somehow related to that year.

 My year was 2004 the year that marked the beginning of one of my favorite shows, Project Runway. These pictures were taking while I was assembling the 75 zines needed for the show.

Hi everyone, I haven’t posted in a while because I was super busy with creating and installing my thesis project. I created a life size cardboard bathroom that people could walk into and a zine people could take with them. It was part of the CSUN 2014 Thesis Exhibition. Here are some pictures showing the final outcome. 

This was a huge project for me considering it was my first time doing an installation or anything this large. I also hadn’t used cardboard in this way before, its a great material to work with. There was a lot to learn but it was a great experience and I look forward to making more cardboard creations.

I will also be posting wip photos to show how this all came together.

Pictures from when I was setting up my “Sweaters Only A Mother Could Love” show. It took longer then I expected but my sister was a great help and stuck it out with me.

I’ve been painting a series of large sweaters lately so here are a few process shots. You might remember this sweater from when I posted the original digital illustration.

Cardboard pieces for my bathroom installation. A trashcan, scale, toilet paper role, clock and a piece of wood that will be turned into a towel rack. Now that I’m getting the hang of making things its time to just start cranking them out, I don't have that much time to finish everything up. 

Another chair with some WIP included.

I’m trying different ways to create large images. Four sheets of 9x12 bristol paper tiled together. I was having some fun mix matching the different pieces.
